We are thrilled that Yarra Drones has been selected as Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) Service Supplier (USS) by Airservices Australia, following a competitive global Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
This selection marks a significant milestone in our growth and reinforces our commitment to delivering innovative, data-driven digital solutions that will enable the drone ecosystem to scale to its full potential across Australia—and soon, globally.
Following integration with Airservices’ FIMS by the Sep 2026, we will provide services such as airspace awareness, operational planning, strategic coordination, and automated airspace authorization across most controlled aerodromes.
We are a Melbourne, Australia-based startup and, since 2023, have been a CASA-approved provider of the drone safety web platform Fly.Ylobe, offering awareness of where it is legal and safe to fly drones for all user types, as well as automated airspace authorizations for commercial drone operators. We also provide other integrated value-added services, such as “drone pilots for hire”, which connects drone operators with prospective remote pilots. Existing users of the Fly.Ylobe drone safety web app will be seamlessly transitioned to the new system, ensuring continued access to our enhanced services.
