Yarra Drones is an Australian uncrewed aviation technology company developing the digital infrastructure that enables the safe integration of drones into Australian airspace.
Built on years of operational experience, we develop intelligent software that simplifies drone operations and automates regulatory compliance.
Our flagship platform, Fly.Ylobe, combines drone safety and operations management, AI-powered SORA, fleet and maintenance management, training records, and automated airspace authorisation in a single platform. It helps operators reduce airspace approval times from weeks or months to seconds, while AI streamlines regulator-compliant SORA assessments from weeks of effort to less than 30 minutes.
As one of Australia's first cohort of UAS Service Suppliers (USS), we have worked closely with Airservices Australia and CASA to help shape Australia's Uncrewed Traffic Management (UTM) ecosystem and support the future integration of drones into the national airspace.
Today, our software is trusted by government, infrastructure, utilities and commercial operators to deliver intelligent airspace management, automated compliance and safer, more efficient drone operations.

Our Story
Every great innovation begins with a challenge. Founded in Melbourne by engineer and entrepreneur Ravi Murty, Yarra Drones was born from a vision to make drone operations safer, smarter and more accessible. Through delivering drone projects across infrastructure, utilities, rail and government sectors, we experienced firsthand the operational and regulatory challenges limiting the growth of the industry. We realised the future of aviation would depend not just on better aircraft, but on smarter digital systems. Rather than accepting these challenges, we chose to solve them. What began as a specialist drone services company evolved into an aviation technology startup focused on building the digital infrastructure for the future of uncrewed aviation. This vision led to the development of Fly.Ylobe, one of Australia's pioneering drone safety and operations management platforms, followed by Simplified SORA, CamGNSS, and ATC4D—Australia's first UTM delivery platform, developed under the regulatory assurance of Airservices Australia and CASA. Today, Yarra Drones is recognised as an emerging leader in Australia's uncrewed aviation ecosystem. We continue to work alongside government, regulators, industry and research partners to develop innovative Australian technology that enables safe, connected and scalable drone operations.
